Man, this is the first time I've seen this thread. Awesome information, can't wait to check into some ZX9 wheels . . . Compstall we owe you :notworthy
Lets keep the list going, I don't have any new information but I can confirm that the 03-04 636 shock is a great mod!
Don't owe me nothin'. All the people of Riderforums are the contributors. :) I just got back to this thread for some updates - I'm sure I may be missing something so if y'all see something that needs to be added let me know.

I'm not able to update my original post, so I have to quote my last listing I have posted. So for those of you wondering, the MOST RECENT mod list posting is the most updated.

Was this a direct bolt-on? Looks like it, but not sure....
Yes it is a direct bolt-on except the longer hoses.
Here is the new version with Braking rotors(black centres).I want to pair them from the begining with new pads(they have different shape from oem pads as you can see in the previous photo).
I think that there is NO difference at braking power at low and mid speeds,I think also that these calipers are stronger at high speeds, perhaps because of the servo effect of the longer pads.:sadpace:
But they are good looking.

2005-2006 Zx636 gauges are a direct bolt on. Main difference is that that RPM range will be different and the 636 does NOT have a fuel gauge.

I was looking on ebay for some brake rotors and came across a listing that said that the z1000(03-06), ZX12R(05-07), and ZR-7S(03-05) front brake rotors are all the same. I looked up the parts diagram and the Z1000 and the ZX12R have the same part number (41080) for the front brakes. I did see a spacer on the Zx12R front brake also. The part number for that is 11009-1754.

I couldn't find any info on the ZR-7S though. It doesn't look like we got that one here in the us.

yhose numbers that you have listed are only the first part if the part number. A lot of online stores will do that to save space. The first 5 numbers should be the same for most wheels from kawi.

I saw that. i want back and edited the wheel out. The brake rotors are the same though 41080-0001-488. I went back and looked them up again and they are both that same number

Yes they are, I was doing the same thing as you posted your last post.

So if I did the 636 fork swap would the gsxr caliper still be a direct bolt on? Just trying to keep my options own for cheap parts during a swap
No man, they mount completely differently than the 636 brakes do. The Z is a radial mounted style caliper. and the 636 has floating disks and has opposed calipers.
