well i finished it up today painted it and poped that ***** on there.
i put some small squares in the corner of the bracket along with some extremly ugly Flux core welds (to later be shaved out for some ultra smooth curavature in the corner)
i cut where the dotted lines are and redrilled the mounting hole. i originally planned for the tag to come all the way out behind the saddlebag for fear that police that couldnt see the tag completly would pull me over. After test fitting it on the motorcycle i decided that it was a bad idea, the slightest touch of the motorcycle and it would begin a mind jarring back-and-forth movement at blinding speed, much less the thunder of the bigshots. so i cut it down some. and no more vibration at all. the extra bracing of the squares and interior welds didnt hurt either.
and finaly installed. just gotta figure out how im gonna shred the mudflap now. im thinking about leaving just enough plastic to hold the turn signals up. i would get the relocater plate or some of the cool rim o the fender jobs like some of yall have but im broke, tis why i had to fab my own 29.95 buy it now tag mounts from ebay. and i had fun doin it.
ill take some pics of the horrid welds and how i plan to fix em sometime in the next week or two. its gettin back cold around here.
