My question is about the rev limiter on my Z. When does it kick in ? I know it does no good to hit it but I have not found it by accident either.
I don't think it is bad to hit the limiter that is why it's there. Don't be scared. I hit the limiter all the time. My bike likes it.RS117 said:My question is about the rev limiter on my Z. When does it kick in ? I know it does no good to hit it but I have not found it by accident either.
+1, anyone close enough should go. It's a great time!pupulah said:Anyhow, I was lucky enough to have gone to Mid Ohio for the races this year and I did hear a tremendous number of people who had no problem reaching their limiters. Almost from the first moment I entered the camp ground I could hear guys pegging the throttle in neutral and holding it. It is a very weird sound and it took a little getting used to but after 24 hrs or so I kinda got to like it.
That place is nuts but really exciting.
If you get the chance to go to Mid Ohio next year, do it. True anarchy is alive and well. The most fun I've had since Woodstock. :woot:
