Anyone try this to the gen 3 z? I did this mod on my hayabusa and the acceleration took less effort and no hand adjustment to reach open throttle. Anyone did this to their z and if so what did you notice?

I just remember when I did it on my busa it took minimal effort for quick acceleration it was super smooth too. Just trying to get some feed back before I do it.

Should slide right onto the bar of the z, I believe that both the throttle and handlebar is 7/8 just concerned about the internal area rubbing inside the cable housing any issues with that? When I did it on the busa it was just as simple as disconnection of the cables and swapping out the throttle tube.

Went with a motion pro sleeve 01-0094. Seems to have been multi fit to numerous bikes including the 03-05 r6 and the 98-08 r1. No housing modification required. Used an old grip for mock up purposes throttle tube is not short either. You can see by the picture that the white area of the tube has more plastic, which in turn gives a shorter turn to get to full throttle. Other then that no wrist adjustment for full throttle, that is about it.

It is nice to be able to get full throttle without readjusting. It is a shorter turn to get to wot which is nice. Hey for 10 dollars you cant really beat it. The throttle sleeve did not have the black rings like the oem one. Fit in the housing without having to make any modifications. Waiting on new grips threw an old one on for the time being seems to serve its purpose
