dont know about the classic part but I moved mine to left side between the v-twin cylinders by fab a bracket, wires were long enough. Sorry the pic is not real clear. I can try taking better pic if needed.

 

Not understanding why relocate? My old Vulcan 800 classic was between the cylinders and was kind of an inconvienence??? Love it where it is on the meanie!!!

 

Can you give more detail on what you did to relocate and how you did this?

I did a quick look, but has anyone posted the process for 'smoothing' the ms tank?

 

Someone used body lead to do it; I remember seeing the pics. It was a european member if that helps narrow it down.

Otherwise I only remember seeing the after pics.

 

Thunder mfg makes a relocation switch that goes inbetween the cylinders for our bikes.
