You should have gotten one. Did you buy the bike used? Most of the tools in the kit are pretty generic - pliers, screw driver allen wrenches, etc. - but the tool you use to adjust the rear shock is in there too and it's pretty specific. If you don't have the kit under the seat you should check with the guy you bought it from first and see if he has it and failing that, check with your local Kawasaki dealer since you're going to probably need that shock adjustment tool.

Tool Kit

spun057. The tool kit is essential part of the Kawasaki 650R. All the nuts, bolts, shock and other items can be taken off or adjusted with this somewhat complete tool kit. Good luck in getting a replacemnet kit. KDOG... :headbang:

Right where the helmet tether comes from there is a little hook. If you hook the loop from the end of the tether on that, then you create a loop thingie. So, you open the seat, put the tether through the d-ring on the helmet, hook it to the hook and close (lock) the seat. Now your helmet will stay on your bike and it'll take a determined thief (who brought bolt cutters for the tether) instead of just some guy who goes "Ohh helmet!" and ganks it off of your handlebars (assuming you'd leave it on the handlebars).

/I wouldn't recommend riding with a helmet on the tether though, it'll bang around and get scratched up.
