Hey guys. I decided to turn my z750s to z750 naked 2007 edition. I placed the z750 2007 gauge but 2 wires were surplus from my old gauge. The yellow (speed sensor supply voltage) and the black/light green (fuel reserve switch). Bike is working fine except couple things. My km/h meter is not working properly (the guy that helped me said my screw nut in front sprocket is square unline 2007 edition which is hexagon) but it doesnt care me a lot. What is frightening me is the FI indicator and the red indicator next to him are flashing constantly. I looked up to it in my gauge and showed me error 39 (ECU communication error: http://www.manualslib.com/manual/375217/Kawasaki-Z750-Abs.html?page=175&term=error&selected=2#). So im wondering, is this happening because the 2 extra wires are not connected so the ECU doesnt get the necessary info, or something else? Should i be worried riding my bike in this condition?
