Please remind us how many kilometers you covered on this trans-continental express. Also, how many days were you gone for. On my recent tour of Gaspé, I met a group of riders who were on a guided tour of the region. Essentially, they were being "guided" through the region by an experienced rider who knew where to go, where to camp, etc..

5 weeks and just over 15,000kms, had planned to do another week and a couple of thousand more kms, however trip to Thailand was pressing.
