I will post Pics in no apparent order, just as they come out.

Pic1.

This is in a citrus growing area around the Murrumbidgee River Victoria, the trees grow lusciously from apparently arid ground. The oranges are grown for the export market and the others are used for juice. Good riding this type of country slows me right down.

Nice clear blue sky. Matches the ZR colour. Suprising how these trees are growing from such a sandy soil. Red colour of soil is caused by minutes grains of the mineral hematite, an iron oxide (i.e. rust), hence the red colour

sorry, the geologist in me took over there :slap:

Andre could have a ball in Western Australia

Every rock and mineral known to man and some more have been found in this state, you should pack your pick and zr7 and do a little or more prospecting/riding here.

PS no snow has been known to fall here.

Pic 2 Crossing the Murray River by ferry

Here is zr7 crossing the Murray River by ferry between Victoria and South Australia, my geography might be a bit hazy, so no harassment please. The slight heligraphic image is trick photography by gg.

The River at that point is about 200 metres wide and the river length is ?????

Is that a clear protective bubble in front of the headlamp?

Pic3 Before the internal combustion engine and electric motor

There are lots of these old relics around Oz. They are mini miracles in construction.

Hi Andre

Yes, the plastic "headlight" protector is one used on motor vehicles I adapted it to zr7 by attaching it with bluetack a kind of plasticine and ductape (ductape nearly useless. Hopefully it will protect the headlight from flying stones and bug splatter.

Pic4 Murray River

Pablo kindly gave us the facts on the Mighty Murray.

In earlier days all inland transport was done using paddle steamers, in fact Wilcania another River Port had the 2nd largest cargo handling capacity of all the Australian ports.

These days a few restored paddle steamers exist for the tourist trade. The boats you can see here are small ferries and holiday type house boats.

Pic6 Mob of sheep

This was at the beginning of the Nullabour Plains SA, these sheep can exist on the salt bush seen in forefront of the Pic. I estimated there to be 2000 sheep in the mob.

Graeme, the paddle boat pic reminds me of what they try to recreate in Disney World Resort. Beautiful pics.

Pics

Pleased you like the Pics guys, I thought they may have been a little boring, I am trying to give you a good perspective of Oz.

Yes 'pep similar transportable boiler that I inspect at bb, they were typically used 100 years ago as their means of power to drive such things as timber mills, mine equipment, and at sheep shearing sheds.

Pic7 stay within your limits guys

Tip of the day: Avoid these at all costs, particularly at sunrise and sundown, don't ride at night.

I saw lots of dead ones on the roadside, crows and other carrion soon devour them.
