G'day,

I just bought a Z750 2011, love the bike!

It's does have 155,000 ks on the clock however and just wonder what others have on their bikes out there and what I should look into maintaining. It rides fantastic! Buttery smooth acceleration and sounds purrrrrfect. I'm so surprised at the high ks and what the original owner has told me (he commuted it since new! Put all those ks on it :O )has had no valve clearance and only

minor maintenance (oil, chain, sprocket, fluids) just a newly re foamed and re adulterer seats. So I paid $10,000 for it and I feel that was a steal, its an awesome bike! Joke I paid 2 thousand :p which is amazing, I think.let me know who's got higher ks and what you'd recommend doing.

No, I would not be worried, but I would certainly have it checked by a qualified engineer who has experience with the model and the year of your motorcycle. I would be more bothered by the fact that it has 155,000km on it than by the 1 year that it has been riding, the motor of a motorcycle is strong and doesn't wear out quickly or easily. You are probably going to need new tyres, brake pads and possibly a new battery.
