About once every 6 weeks I walk into Paul's shop and ask him to make me something that is unrelated to motorcycles but which helps me out tremendously. For instance, the plastic barrel in my pool light retainer broke. I walked in and asked him if he could make a new threaded barrel for the retainer so I could fix my pool light. He made it out of brass and then hand delivered it to me.

Now this may not seem like much to some. But Paul is a very busy man. I also know his machines are setup to continue making the high volume of industrial parts that they make. So I know that in order to make my one little part he has to reconfigure a machine in his shop, find the round stock, cut, drill, tap, polish and then reset his machines. And, finally, hand deliver it to me to boot.

Now, I could have bought another pool light retainer thingy for $20. But the plastic threaded barrel would have eventually failed again. So what Paul gave me is a superior product than what I would have gotten for $20.

Yes it is very cool that Paul is who he is and does what he does. He got my cam chain extenders to me rippin' fast. When I was a member of the M109R rider forum, there was a guy in Sacramento Ca. who made some stainless steel aftermarket parts for that bike, but just a narrow few. Paul is coming up with a ton of new stuff, and his prices are beyond super-reasonable. What goes around comes around, karma should be granting Mr. Fuller some nice returns in the life for his undaunting services and dedication to his craft and hey, we are the lucky ones! Jimbo....you're even more fortunate that you live so close to him! Now if Paul didn't own a meanstreak........I for one am very glad he does!

He's open to any bike model and would love to expand. The starting point is to have access to that particular model. Is there anyone in the Ninja community that would ride over to Paul's shop and talk to him about it?

Y'all have WAY too much time on your hands! But funny!!!!!

Re:Ninja parts

The fastest way for Paul to make parts is by someone sending him one that he can replicate. If you want a particular part, find someone who has it and pay to ship it to FullerCNC. If downtime for the "lender" of the part is an issue, start lining up donors for the winter months. It's worked well for us ALL on the Mean Streak.

Thanks for this information. I have been trying to figure out what he needs from our area for us to help him help us. This helps a lot. We have a new suspension thread that has garnered a lot of interest and some of us are going to want some parts we think he can generate. I have been communicating with him on IM and he is dedicated to his mean streak folks and wants to get you guys wrapped up before he starts the new ninja project. This should give us some time to get our ducks in a row.

Planning is definitely key. Especially coming toward the end of riding season. If someone you know already has the parts you want made, they can send it to him. A little down time isn't as painful in the cold months. I've even sent (and personally taken) parts to him that I want an improved version of. I try to write down good specifics to go with it for him to reference. And if you can locate someone in the North Central Alabama area for him to fit the parts on their bike, it will speed up the process. Frankly speaking, it would be even better if he could have a bike on site for a period of time.

I have communicated this exact line to the guys/gals on the thread as many people appear to be interested. Thanks again for your guidance.

I'll give you another example of why he is so cool. He said he needed my phone # so I gave it to him wondering what could be so important that PM and text couldn't handle it. What was so important? He just wanted to say "Thanks" for the turn signal idea... in a more personal way than typing, since Texas is too far for a face to face and a handshake. By the way Paul, I'm sending you a P.M. related to that item and it might come in handy for your other items too. Check your box.
