just bought the oneal sierra II dual sport helmet. there are two metal studs, one each side, one is below the sunshade . switch. what are they for?

Without seeing a pic of the studs you're talking about, I'm going to guess that they're for attaching the chin strap to the shell.

You know...there used to be something called a manual where these things can be looked up. It's kinda a bit optimistic to expect someone else to own that exact same helmet.
