I am totally new to the motorcycle world & am buying a  Ninja 650r contingent on it having a clean VIN. But, I can't figure out what is the best web site to use to check if the record is clean. I saw cyclechex, but I never heard of them until 5 min's ago. Anybody know of a legit web site? Carfax has no record of the VIN. Thanks for any help you can offer! Rose

HEY! Mine's for sale. I'll have to look up the VIN, but I'd be glad to give it to ya.

not to advertise or anything, but here's a link to it if you're interested. clicky.

A benefit would be that you can read my posts and stalk me for what I've done, or asked here.

My bank, Wright Patt Credit Union checked mine when I bought it, I believe.

You can put in the VIN at Kawasaki.com in the owner's area to see if the bike has had any recal work done on it and when it was registered and warranty time period. Then you can ask the owner leading questions to see if they lie about anything.

You can call your local DMV and ask them what to do, or local law enforcement.
