The entire headlight assembly is a sealed plastic unit. You can't remove the front clear lens from the back reflector.

Yeah I see that now...well damn. I guess if I want something different as far as lighting it'd have to be HID I guess.

And be careful about replacing the stock halogen bulb with a brighter one, there are reports on the Forum of riders who installed high intensity bulbs and the excess heat caused the lamp housing to start melting...

Many years ago, Berto decided to tackle this issue by installing a supplementary light in his fairing. This too was cause for concern since the alternator on our ZR7 is not very strong. If you add too much electrical load, the battery won't charge...
