Currently I have a 04 SV 650 S with Penske and in the front springs and gold valves. I do occasional track days and ride near the front of the Intermediate group.

I love my bike, but recently tried out a few new bikes: 05 CBR 600 RR and 05 Suzuki GSXR 750. The tightness and feel of the brakes and suspension leave me wanting the bike, but I really like riding twins.

That said, the dive of my forks and lack of breaking ability on my SV seems like it's so bad after getting on those bikes.

Will a GSXR Front end (Complete) give me the breaking and feel that I am desiring after riding these two bikes?

What year forks are best?

What was it that Paul Thede said? Something like "the best you know is the best you have ridden"? Sounds like you have experienced the next level. A Gixxer front end should be a big improvement over modified stock SV forks. Maybe you can find someone who has done the swap already and try it. I really liked the Gixxer front end on my old SV racer with Braking wave rotors and Brembo master. Or you can really spoil yourself and try a bike with Ohlins forks. The lack of stiction and resulting smooth supple feel is amazing.

I have an 01 sv with 93 gsxr forks, and it makes a world of difference. I have the same year SV that is completely stock, braking cornering and just riding in general seem so much easier, smoother and faster with the different forks. I'm not sure what all years work but I have heard of people using 97 as well as 02 and 03 forks, so IMO its a must have for serious riding.
