I emailed him again, and heres what I got:

Yes, we will be including the "updated" bolts in these kits (at no charge) once we have them in stock. We have ordered several hundred, we are simply waiting for them to arrive here at our shop.

You are welcome to post on your thread that we will be including the new bolts as soon as they are here (I am expecting them later this week). Also, we will be happy to send these bolts to anyone who bought a kit previously and only received the "short" bolts. All they need to do is ask, and we'll ship them at no charge.

If there is any problems with the block off plates, please contact Allan at TPO directly. The email is [email protected].

This way Im not the middle man, and he can directly assist you with whatever problems you might be having. TPO has amazing customer service so far, and I am very pleased with it.

I havent had a problem, but one member posted up and said there was popping or something.

I was one of the ones with the popping issue. Put a little silicone around to seal the plate to the valve cover and the popping and hard starting goes away!
Hells yeah! Guess thats the fix. I left my reed valves in for that rubber seal...

I just installed these and the "short" bolts bottom out so i had to trim them. I also made a gasket out of a sheet of gasket material.

so does the bike run better with these.
cant see it making much of a difference as its not an EGR
it just lets alittle air into the pipe to help burn off any unburnt fuel lowering the emissions

I did mine a while ago to prevent popping on decel when I installed an aftermarket end can (Fuel). I don't believe there's a reason that removing this junk will make the engine run better.

Not sure yet. Just got everything put back together today (wired up a Koso digital dash too) ill have to go for a ride tomorrow and see. If it tames the popping on deceleration it will be worth it to me

Well... Vacume petcock on the gas tank must have failed because my engine got completely flooded with with the 2 gallons of gas that was in My tank. Didnt realize untill i tried to start it and it was hydrolocked. 2.5 gallons of gas/oil.... Ugh

ive been running it for a few weeks now and I will say that the popping on decel is gone. I feel like my exhaust is slightly quieter also. I also dont have the problem with oil in the airbox anymore which is nice. I feel like it runs slightly better also. overall I would say its worth it, just make sure all the bolts are tightend well and that you have a good seal on the valve cover. I was initially having some oil seepage around the valve cover gasket.
