A while back the topic came up about the rides' foot pegs being hollow and replacing them with aftermarket pegs because they felt spongy. Well, I read something the other day that said this is a unique thing that Kawasaki is doing. So, yes, they are hollow. I guess it's a cheaper way to control viberations.
