I have tightend the chain on my ZR once so far, but was not sure I was doing it right. I know you take out the cotter pin and losen the axle bolt, but when you turn the bolts on the end of the swing arm what way do you turn them. Last time I had to tighten my chain I went clockwise and it seemed to work, but I would think that you would losten the bolts and allow the axle to slide more towards the rear of the bike. Could somebody tell me which way to actually turn the bolts? Thanks

Could have sworn it was counter-clockwise, but it doesn' matter. Just mark (with a Sharpie or something) where it is now, then crank away one way or another. If you're going the wrong way, you'll easily see the chain start to loosen and sag. Then just go the other way.

Be sure to reinstall NEW cotter pin!!!
