I dropped my bike. Afterwards, the throttle will not retract into place at all. I've looked at the cables and they seem to be correctly in their places. I found this piece near where I dropped her (pictures attached) I cannot find anything like it online and I can't find where it might go. I feel like I'm just crazy. Please help. 😩

I don’t recognise the piece either sorry. Does the the throttle release easily if you push it closed ? If it doesn’t keep this in mind The throttle on a bike is a simple mechanism and a likely scenario is that you dropped it on the right hand side and the throttle tube is jammed or similar. Try looking around the handlebar near the bar end as this can be damaged. Look at the cables and check for kinks. If it releases easily but doesn’t go back on its own it could be something like a return spring.
