FEROCIOUS! Now that is what Kawasaki should wake up and do! More aggresive styling to win more customers.

:agree:I love the exhaust angles and tips. I really love the way that the lower fairing extends back and doesn't just cut off. It makes the bike look "full". Do you know what I mean?

Here is the curent picture of my bike. This bike is 315 lbs wet and its a ball to ride. It takes no effort to lay this thing in a turn slame your knee on the ground and pass all the 1000s ( on the out side ) at track days. The bike is just planted to the ground and its a blast to ride on the street. If you are ever in northern CA you need to stop buy Motogenex, they built this bike i cant thank them any more.

Is that a fiberglass tank? And I think you're being a little optimistic on the weight.

The tank is fiberglass and kevlar and the bike is 315 wet trust me.
Our Moto-St bike weighs 360lbs dry fuel tank.
We have a custom aluminum subframe, and fairing bracket.
Here's a break down of part weight:
Full frame:60
Versys swingarm 15
Engine and Throttle Bodies :140
Front wheel,tire, and rotors:30
Rear wheel,tire,rotor,sprocket and carrier:32
Forks&Triple Clamps 32 Your using an upside down set, which weighs 5 lbs more.
Wire harness and components:8
Bodywork: 11
Radiator and fan:5
Exhaust: 9
Calipers and master cylinders:9
Stock battery:9 Moped battery:4
Shock:6
Rearsets:6
Misc nuts and bolts:4
I see you're using a kick stand, add another pound.
Fuel is 6.25 per gallon x 4 at least=25lbs

Wow are you sure thats a race bike, thats heavy. When i raced i AMA i learned how to save weight. This bike has rc211v body work you cant get this in the states, alm 1 off sub frame, dymag wheels,gsxr1000 ft end, carbon tail and the list goes on and on. When i raced in CCS i was on a fzr 560 and that was 350 wet so ithink your race bike can still shed some pounds... I tell you this bike is 315 wet with no kick stand in track trim.

Ever hear of a guy named Ed Key? Races the trickest, lightest SV650 there is.
305 lbs. Ti and carbon everything. Every possible bolt is drilled.
360lbs is lightest a LW or ST class bike can weigh, empty.
It's not that I don't beleive you, it just I find it very hard to. Sorry,
the #s don't add up. If you had a full aluminum frame, and ti everything, yes.

I think i know the name from my CCS,WERA days. I know its hard to believe you might want to call motogenex. The bike does only track days my racing days are over. The body is carbon, fenders, tail and most of the 1 off parts are alm,ti and mag.. Good luck this year racing your 650 remember beat up on the sv for me....

but on the pics its a stock rearwheel,
have you painted it yet?

did you change something on the motor?
