Since the lockdown I havent managed to get any riding done so I figured I'd take the time to clean and lube the swingarm. Main issue was some rust where some battery fluid had leaked .. nothing major as I slapped some paint on it but it looked grotty.

Everything went well, some swingarms fight you all the way but the various grease points that Kawasaki thoughfully provided helped and it all came apart smoothly.

All pivots looked good but there was a slight amount of play on the main swing arm bearing.. That will need monitoring and if it gets worse I will have to change the bearing eventually!

Main thing is to keep pumping in grease, I try to do it twice a year.. you need to pump until fresh grease come out the edges and this creates a mess but better mess outside and fresh grease inside!
