This is not a mid-level Bandit, the DL2000 V-Strom (yes, Strom) is different in design and in price (MSRP $8,899). Look closely. It's naked not with a tubular frame, but rather the more rigid twin-spar variety. No inline-4 either, it's the 90-degree V-twin from the TL1000. Matching hard bags will apparently be an option.
This is the kind of sport-touring bike that's very popular in Europe right now, and I guess Suzuki thinks the time is right for it to be popular over here as well.
