"The plug wire caps have to be put on in the correct "direction", be clean, seal well and the venting hole has to do its job or you either get water in or pop the end off the plug. There is an arrow on the cap. I think that it points to front but I can not be sure from my desk at work. It may point back." Found this on another forum - run the bike at idle for 20-30 minutes to evaporate the water and then do what the post says.
