this is probably a painfully obvious question, but the Kawa site shows two "service manuals" for sale, one at $25 the other at $37. One has a part number that ends in -01 the other in -02. So which one is for my '02 purple people eater (with the most obvious answer being "the one that ends in -02, dummy"). But I just want to make sure before I send off for it.

Orion & Andy,

I ordered/received 99924-1269-01 and it is a "ZR-7S Motorcycle Manual". It has 15 Sections (pgs not numbered) and looks like it covers everything. Notice below the Kawa listings. 2001 & 2002 are the same books (same bike).

2000
99924-1248-01 Service Manual ZR750F1 $36.95

2001
99924-1269-01 Service Manual ZR750-H1 $24.95
99924-1269-02 Service Manual ZR750 $36.95

2002
99924-1269-01 Service Manual ZR750-H1 $24.95
99924-1269-02 Service Manual ZR750 $36.95

I believe Martin had mentioned sometime back that the -02 version may be a "Parts Reference Manual" of some type (maybe it's both, in color, don't know). I ordered mine based on his "always solid" information.

I swear Kawa did list 2 2000 year Service Manuals a couple of weeks ago:( Wonder if anyone out there has this other book?

....You're easily led a-stray....wanna buy some ".com" stock?

I was figuring it was maybe a parts manual because I have the other one and it does cover everything I've ever needed and a whole lot more.....maybe it's worth having, too.

well I called the Kawa number and asked the guy about it. He didn't seem to know what the -02 was for either but could tell me that "they don't have any of them in stock and don't look be getting any in stock." So the -01 it is then...
