After discussing it with Stan we decided to stay at Best Western in Maggie Valley which is where we have stayed the last three years. I spoke with BW yesterday and they still have plenty of rooms available for May 11 - 14 but there is another big bike rally the same weekend so rooms could go quickly. They still have rooms available in the back building which is nice because it is off the main street and it has its own secluded parking lot. You will have to specifically ask for a room in the back building when you make your reservation. My plans are to arrive Wednesday afternoon and leave Sunday morning so I have reserved a room for four nights in the back building. Reserve yours now before they are gone. For ever bodies information, north carolina has started a new speeding crack down campaign, i learned this from a vendor while i was working outside of cherokee today, i googled it on the internet and it says the speed limit is the speed limit, i was told they was writing tickets for 1 to 2 mph over said speed limit, i know the troopers have been out lately there so keep this in mind.

I doubt its the big bike group you referred to but a group of V4 honda's should also be nearby that same weekend
