My wife might come this year, or at least drive the car down and stay for a day or so. She may also go see here son near Greenville SC. She probably wont be on the group ride. No way could I keep up with her on back. I'm the slowest guy already lol.

I'm surprised at the lack of responses to the thread this year. It is always a great time and I would always go but this year I went skiing in Colorodo and took a fall that broke 2 ribs and bruised my lung. It's unbelievable the pain when you cough. Anyway complications ensued as I got pneumonia and my left lung sack filled with fluid. I finally got it drained recently(2.3 litters) and I can finally breath again. Imagine putting a 2 liter bottle in your chest where you lung is. My doctors will not allow me to go this year as my ribs are not yet healed (as a matter of fact he wants me to give up the bike but hell no).

PS: Obama-Care sucks since almost all the cost of my treatment has been a deductable.

I'm sorry I can't go but will look forward to the follow-up thread on how it went (if it goes at all). Good luck to all and safe riding.

Looks like I'll be touring solo this year. Jr. traded his bike in for a four wheeler.
