Took a rock to the radiator last weekend. Dealer wanted $550 for the radiator plus labor and parts. Why or why with all of the plastic on this bike was a radiator guard not included??? Anyway, had the radiator repaired for $80. Just got it back together. Fall riding here I come.

I got an R&G radiator guard fitted by my dealer before picking up the bike. Not sure if it'll protect from decent sized rocks but it is certainly sturdy.

Might be a worthwhile investment!

A friend of mine bought a Ducati Streetfighter S. The day after delivery, he put a rock through the rad! All fixed for $1300!!
At $35,000AU you'd think a bike like that would have a guard. They don't even offer one as an accessory!!
I made my own. Most guards over here cost around $200AU!!!!
