Hi folks...
I want to rebuild my 1999 model engine... or rather, let some shop do it for me of course ;)
Now, I am situated in Denmark and it is frigging expensive to do any reparation on bikes over here so I was thinking driving it down to Germany ´cause it is supposed to be cheaper there... are there any members of this forum in Germany or have knowledge of reparations in Germany ??
My very best greetings
Jacnor

Not from your part of the world, but have a thought to consider- The price of used Bandits is so cheap that it is probably more economical to just buy a used Bandit rather than put more money into the old one. I don't know what the price of used Bandits is in Denmark, but in the USA they are one of the best used bike deals around. You can pick up low mileage examples for around $3000 dollars...much better than rebuilding an existing bike. Just something to consider.

I have followed your advise and bought a Bandit from the states.. it turned out to be (with delivery costs) around 245% cheaper then rebuild here in Denmark :)

My own 1200S is approaching 50,000 miles and I will trade it in on another some day. So far it has been an excellent bike and I will ride it until it needs some expensive repair and then probably part it out on ebay.
