Hi all,

I would like to know if anyone here knows how much
clearance there will be between the rear tyre and
"mudguard"(inside plastic under the seat) before the
shock bottoms out, ie. FULLY compressed (with any kind
of damping and preload settings).

This is all for a practical reason. I have got an idea, but want to keep it quiet for now. But I do need to know.

Anyone knows? :D

Thanks in advance,
Zero.

Hi zero,

I have no idea, but I 'll take this opportunity to welcome you here ;)

Why don't you just adjust the preload to min and have 3-4 guys sit on the bike?

Hey Zero, sorry I don't have an answer for you, and sorry too that word has already leaked out of your idea. You learn quickly here that word spreads like wild fire. So, when do you plan on jumping the Snake River Canyon ?

Hey Aris!

Thanks for the warm welcome.;)

Tony,

Thanks for your reply too. I like your style(ie. sense of humour).:~

Nah, seriously. I don't plan jumping the Canyon yet, I need to get the bike from the UK so the US first!

But I would like to have this info. I don't really have 3-4 guys to sit on it, and my other half won't like the idea if I tell her she must get on it purely to see how much it 'sags'. Heh, I'll have a slap for that!

Thanks,
Zero.
