Was wondering if anyone on here has put their radiator fan on a switch. Some guys I ride with have that done on their bikes. Wouldn't mind doing that for mine. They spliced into it so that the ECU could still turn the fan on and off but also they can do it themselves while letting it sit. I also drag race my N1K so I'd like to do this so I can cool it down after each run! Thanks!

Always a good idea, and not to hard to do. Just have to rig up a relay to ground typically.

Ivan's (and others, though I always prefer Ivan) ECU remapping should enable him to use a more real world on and off temp for the fan...

They set the fans to come on at like 225degrees stock, but this is not done for best engine life. It is done because hot motors use less fuel.

Thanks for the advice, any idea on where the wiring is for the fan that I can jump in to?
