Hey Everyone!

The all new Sport bars for the 2010 - 2012 Z1000 are so close to being done that we've put them on pre-sale!

You can order them HERE!

Helmet Green Motorcycle accessories Automotive exterior Vehicle

Here's all of the juicy info on them:

2010-2012 Z1000 Sport bars:

All New design, built specifically for the 2010 and up Z1000. These bars will get you as low as you can go without having to modify anything. Compared to the OEM handlebar, the Sport bars will give you a sportbike feel to your street fighting Z. You'll be leaned over the front end by an extra 2 1/2 inches, with the bars lowered another two inches over stock. Whether you enjoy the occasional track day or casually cutting the canyons on your Z, having more weight on the front end will improve the handling feel of your bike. Gone are the days of the motard feel of the Stock handlebars, these bars have incorporated the perfect droop to the outside that you'd expect from any top shelf Clip-on setup.

The unique mounting design of the sport bars consists of a bracket that is clamped between your stock handlebar clamp, a mounting plate that is then attached to this bracket, and the sport bar system that is attached to the mounting plate. The sport bar system is droop adjustable by loosening your handlebar clamp and rotating the mounting bracket forward or backwards. Each handlebar tube is replaceable in the event of an accident at the price of only $15.00 per bar.

Kit includes: Top clamp, handlebar tubes, mounting plate, mounting bracket, all necessary hardware, and Instructions.

Available in Gloss Black powder coat Finish.

The expected arrival date for these sport bars is the 17th of February!

Wow, just installed my Sportbars on the Ninja 650 2 days ago. These look nice too.
LOL! I remember talking to you on the phone and sending them out for you too! How are you liking them for your 650?

Cant wait to see more pics of these installed.
Seriously considering them.
As soon as the prototype bars that are on the bike in the pictures above are powder coated, I'll be posting pictures of them from the top so I can show off their sexyness :agree:

They're going to look similar to the 03-06 Z1000 Sport bars:

I like them so far. Gonna take the 650 to Chuckwalla on the 27th for my first trackday. I'll let you know how they feel after that.

I love my Z1000 so much as it is, curious to know how they would feel on it.

anything in the works for the Ninja/ Sx
truly the only thing I dislike on the bike, wish the bars were an inch or so lower and angled down a bit
similar to the after shots that's posted above

The Ninja 1000 has a unique handlebar system, similar to that of the ninja 250. At this time, a proper handlebar application is being pondered to see if it is indeed feasible to make a sport oriented handlebar for this bike.

Those do look very adjustable. But it won't work on the 2010-12 Z1k as it doesn't take a 7/8ths inch handlebar. :-(
