Does anyone know if the PCIII for 04-06 (vn1600) Mean Streak can also be used for the 02-03 (vn1500)model? Because I've been looking for a Kuryakin Hypercharger for my 02 Mean Streak, but the price has been going around 260 (cheapest) to 290-300 shipped (average). Recently, I've found a good deal on the hypercharger, but their listing said it's for 04-06 Mean Streak, and not sure if it can be used for the older years.
So if anyone know if the one that were listed for 04-06 can be used for other years as well. Cuz If they do, i'll be saving a lot of money having this upgrade on my baby.

Not sure on the fitment.
But, I've got a hypercharger I can sell you.

The part number for an intake on a 1500 and 1600 is the same, so the fitment should be the same for the hypercharger. I don't know about the power commander, but best bet on both items is to call the manufacturer.

Another question for those with aftermarket intake

For those you installed intake like Thunder, Tornado, etc?
- I've seen pix in this forum, and you install the intake on the right side of the bike, what you do have on the left side?? Just leave the stock round cover on? or do you have something else on the left too? thanks

I left mine empty because I like to see the engine. I painted the holes black. I really like the way it looks.

To answer my OWN first question, I've checked with PCIII tech support, the unit for 02-03 and 04-07 is the same unit, the only difference is that the maps preloaded in the unit is different. So if you're running aftermarket pipes, or intake, and will not be using the stock maps, you'll be ok.

This thread is from 2007. Seriously doubt he's still selling it. Besides, there are better options than a hypercharger. Look into a Baron Big Air Kit.
