I used to have a Meanie. I currently ride a 1998 Honda Valkyrie. We commonly use VTX bushings in our shocks, as they have the same mounting type. I'm actually looking to raise the rear of my Valk slightly. Stock Valk shocks are 13", and I know the Meanie's are a little longer. So, I know a lot of y'all have put VTX shocks on your Mean Streak to lower it; I sort of want to do the reverse. Since you need to sleeve the bushings to work, I know I'm going to have to do some custom bushing work to fit my larger mount posts, but I imagine I can mod something to work. Anybody have some decent shape stockers collecting dust on a shelf somewhere?

Thank you. Got the ones I ordered. Ordered new bushings that I think will make them fit on my bike. I drained them and am about to refill with fresh suspension fluid. Hope they work out, so this wasn't a wasted enterprise. I know many replace these shocks with aftermarket, but my factory shocks don't have rebound adjusters. They do have preload adjustment, but I'd like the air adjustment that the Meanie shocks have.
