With snow on the ground and a rear tire with no tread left, it's probably time to face the inevitable 4-5 months of PMS ... that's Parked Motorcycle Syndrome. It was a good year though, well over 20,000km/12,500 miles.
Sounds like a good year for you! I've not come close to a 5-digit year on my bike ever.It was a good year though, well over 20,000km/12,500 miles.
heated gear. :agree: I stay warm down into the 20s with heated jacket liner and heated gloves. Don't know if they will work below that because I don't see below that around here.Only good thing is, I should be able to keep riding if I can just stay warm.....
Here's the difference ... we ride 2 days just to get into southern Virginia and eastern West Virgina to ride the good roads (plus 2 days back home). You live there and have a built in headstart.Sounds like a good year for you! I've not come close to a 5-digit year on my bike ever.
7,000 to 8,000 miles is good for me. I guess I need to take a few longer jaunts during the year.

You make a very valid point Craig. I hope the next time you are down "this way" that we will make a point to meet somewhere!!!Here's the difference ... we ride 2 days just to get into southern Virginia and eastern West Virgina to ride the good roads (plus 2 days back home).
