I got a 2021 Kawasaki 650 an at 4000 rpm it start flashing as I go higher in the rpm there only 900 miles no engine light on nothing . Why’s it doing that?

I think i read somewhere that the new bikes have an adjustable shift light that is set for the run in period or similar... Have a read of the owners manual it will say something in there if im correct

You can change this. For the break in period, they recommend shifting at 4k. You can set it to flash at any rpm you want or not at all. the manual or online will tell you how. there are many settings in the app u can change as well so its worth doing. I thought same as you when I got it new and it was flashing at 4k
