I just bought an 06 ninja 650R and it's currently set up as a naked/streetfighter bike. I don't like the way the headlight is on there so I'm looking to see if I can get some fairings so I can mount the headlight like its supposed to be and put on a windscreen. It doesn't have to be in great condition scratches are okay I can repaint them. Let me know if you have anything!

Make sure to check the for sale section here, might be something. I used search tempest to locate a full set when I was rebuilding mine. Good luck!

The two bikes have completely different frames and subframes. I can't imagine they would fit without serious modification.

Just wondering if you've considered buying aftermarket fairings? I'm kind of in the same boat with needing new fairings but mine is due to damage on the left side. Since I'm going to be replacing the entire left side, I figured I might as well see if I can get some used ones (since OEM parts are quite expensive) in a color I would really like (pretty much have my heart set on orange).

Anyways, I guess I'm also wondering if anyone has any advice on this. I'm not trying to jack the thread, and am obviously new here so I'm not trying to rustle anyone's jimmies, but I found some chinese fairings that are obviously way cheaper (link below). I've messaged the seller asking exactly what the listing includes and am still awaiting a response. Anyone care to chime in on the pros and cons of going aftermarket vs OEM? Thanks in advance.
