Something that's fun/nice about the 765 and Monster is that they have an addictive intake roar that springs to life when leaning into the throttle. (Something that a CBR650 doesn't do.) After years, I didn't really take notice until yesterday, but the Ninja actually has a modest intake growl during wot. Dare I say that the Ninja engine is less powerful shades of my Ducati 937, despite 180 P-twin vs 270 L-twin. I have never really put my finger on the je ne sais quoi that makes me like this budget bike so much.
