Memphis Shades Bullet fairing help

PM Speed racer he's ot a bullet fairing mounted on his Marauder.
Just so others know,just received Vulcan custom bullet fairing and ms sportshield mount to my 02 meanie,headlight hole is 3/4 too small and lower triple tree is in the west for a clean mount. I'm going to have to make custom brackets to make it work. Will post some pics when I'm done.

Yeah, pretty sure speedracer used a Vulcan headlight and made/bent the brackets to fit.

It's a different headlight. I can't remember which one though. I would suggest you PM him.

meanie head light will work, but will stick out a little farther than mine. I only had to bend bracket because of the rake. Other than that the classic headlight is a perfect fit. bracket bolt holes line up fine. I drilled out the holes though so I could use 8 mm bolts.

Not sure why you had problems. Work fine with the stock headlight for me. But yours looks great

What light you using?
I assume it is the stock light, I used the custom 900 fairing but the hole was 3/4" too small,had to make new mounts to attach the Memphis shades sportsheild mounts go up 2 3/4. " up and 2" out to make it work, all in all I like how it turned out

Hmmmm, can you measure the hole opening in the fairing?

I hope I did not steer you in the wrong direction on the right fairing to use. For some reason I thought the 900 custom light and the meanie were the same size. I guess the custom is 7". Again sorry if I messed you up

It didn't seem like the OP ever resolved his issue and it looks like you (speedracer) had marginal success yourself I was just wondering if you had any info on
1. What make and model of fairing you used
2. What you put it on and what your measurements are (someone indicated it was a marauder?)
3. What you had to do to get it to work.
I'm looking to add it to a 2006 Meanie I think has the stock headlight and I want to make sure I get the right thing before dropping the money on it. I can take measurements just looking for a jumping off point.
Any help you can give I'd greatly appreciate man!

Speed used one for a vn900...but he had to customize his own brackets..I believe.

I used the bullet for fat boy. Used Memphis sport shield brackets. Used vulcan 1600 classic headlight and mount,. You mount bullet first then headlight. Tight fit but looks good

found MEM9934 Memphis Shades Sportshield , are these the correct brackets?
also you used fatboy bullet shield is this because of the Vulcan headlight ?
wondering which fairing to order . thanks
