If everyone else is so sure it's not injected, make a bet. Then pull the cover on the right hand side and collect.I'm not a new rider, however, I'm new to the mean streak. I just bought a 2007 MS 1600 and absolutely love it although the stock pipes and intake have got to go. My problem is that everyone that sees my bike says it has to be carbureted bc it has the manual choke and an idle screw and they say they don't put those on fuel injected bikes. So I'm just wondering if anyone can help me clear up this confusion on why it has a manual choke instead of an electric choke and an idle screw when it's a fuel injected bike?
That is not a choke pull knob on the left, it is for a fast idle while the motor warms up. The idle adjuster is just that, it raises or lowers the idle RPM.
