Hi it is great as a very nice sound and like the fact you can have it at 1 of 3 sound levels depending if you leave the db killers in. I have 1 in 1 out and also have the small drop in CAT and runs great with no need for remap. Leave CAT out and will be louder but might affect fuelling. Its a good looking exhaust and good value

The Ixil came with a small Cat you can slip into the pipe if you want or it can be left out

That's a clean looking 06! love the first gens with all my heart lol! One of the best upgrades is going to an ultra low bar or getting sport bars(If you can find them). I have owned a worked with many a first gens they are great bikes for sure!

Thanks Chdrummerdude. I was surprised at how clean this was too. But I guess it happens. I've been riding it everyday to work since I got it so it will definitely get broken in.

My 08 ‘naked ninja’ that I just redid some small stuff on recently. Had a cheap Chinese headlight with black painted bucket, but the black paint was peeling off to show chrome that was completely unprepared for paint... so I stripped, bead blasted, and painted the bucket red to match the bike and then stripped the trim ring to the polished chrome. I’m not a big fan of chrome on my bike, but a few tiny details done in chrome won’t hurt.

now I just need to fabricate a better coolant catch tank, the one I’ve been using (black anodized .3L eBay piece) is just too small and keeps overflowing any time I get stuck in traffic for more than a few minutes...
