Hey guys,

I bought a pretty cheap 2018 Ninja 650 with a damaged left fairing. So I thought how hard can it be to get a nice cheap starter bike and replace the left fairing?

Yeah jokes on me I got no idea how to get it off. My main problem is everything above the indicator because I can't seem to find any bolts, push pins or rubber grommets anymore where it might be hooked into.

Any ideas?

Get a hold of the Owners Mnual or Workshop Manual - they describe how to remove the fairings.

Here’s the Service Manual for the ‘12-‘16 Ninja650, most of the info for Fairing stuff is the same for the ‘17s onward. http://www.magnum1.com/magnum/Ninja-650/650_Manuals/Ninja-650-Service-Manual.pdf

Get familiar with your bike! take off the undamaged fairing (there are removal/install YouTube videos available) and you’ll see where the mounting points are. Each side is a mirror image or the other side.

Honestly the videos help more than the manual.
