Hi, I´m 52 years old and living in southern germany. 2 weeks ago I bought a blue 2001 ZR-7. It has 2200 miles on it and is still waiting for me at the dealer. My daughters and I will ride it in Odenwald, Black Forrest and Alps ... when winter has gone.

I found this forum, when I was looking for a ZR-7- or Kawasaki- forum in Germany. I read a little and noticed, there are friendly and interesting members, but I also noticed, that I´ve got to less practice in english. So here I am :)

I´m sorry for my mistakes and hope they will get less, when I keep reading and writing here.

Best wishes from Hohenlohe, germany ... aracus

Welcome! One of the good things about the internet it brings together people from everywhere.
Hope you enjoy your new bike, from what I've seen it looks like beautiful riding areas there. Your English is fine, waaaaayyyy better than my German. Now go eat a doner kabob? Not sure how to spell it.

Welcome to the forum Aracus. We have some German immigrants in my area and several authentic German restaurants.

Hey Aracus, another German here :)
I live in a town near Heidelberg.
My mother lives in Hohenlohe (Weißbach).

I'm about the same age as you and my daughter will start on her motor bike driver's licence soon and tries to persuade me to buy a bike for me and her :D

I've stumbled over this forum while browsing Tapatalk for Kawasaki forums and so far like it here :)

Hi Aracus and Volker! Nice to see other Germans here.
I moved from Ohio to the Munich area in 2011 and haven't been back in this group until today. Miss my riderforums pals so much. I haven't been able to find such nice fellow riders here in my area.
Where are you two from?
