If you read throguh this, and follow some of the links, I think it shows the "why" for Kawasaki's h2. Its nto so much for performance, but emissions. The bike shows us why we should be excited, and ok about supercharging.

For me, I'd take the zx14, but it sounds like no way a zx14, ninja 1000, etc will ever be able to pass emissions testing in the next few years.
The motorcycles will have to have the diagnostic ports, like cars, and the emissions levels have to stay under the limit for many thousands of miles.
I think its part of the reason Suzuki is calling their Ninja 1000 a 2016 model, but releasing in early 15. It lets them get a extra year out of it.
