Hello Gaeme. I guess you have access to the internet along your journey? Have you brought along a laptop PC?

What are your plans for maintenance along the way, seeing how many Km you'll be covering?

It's great you'll be meeting Jessica in Perth. I do remember several other forum members in Oz, Scott for example is now in Germany. But, do you have any plans for meeting anyone else we may know here on the board?

Internet cafes are available at all towns or I can use the town library, sorry no laptop, however have digital camera, mini mini diary and a somewhat erratic memory.

All major maintenance just done, will do oil/filter changes along the way. That is the beauty of zr7, when you look at it, maintenance is minimal.

Only know Jessica and looking forward to catching up, know other people at Perth Darwin and Gladstone.....out with the atlas.

Now 4am, have last game of 9 holes of golf at 6am, ride out at 9am. An easy 450kms today.

I thought steamboat computer was running out of puff again

I logged onto zr7 forum, the usual forum homepage didn't come up and then I could see two gg Oz trip threads, I replied to trekker, then went back and steamboat still didn't bring up forum homepage. Then the penny dropped there is a new section "gg's Oz triip .......h'mmmm what's been going on?

Thanks guys/gals, I will keep in touch. Pics will have to wait to Perth, have extra memory stick for digi cam.

Time is running out, just have to cook a couple of boiled eggs and potatoes, no cooking the 1st day also have a few sausages.

Better look at zr7 maintenance sure to be a post or two there.
