I have a 2007 Ninja 650 r. The bike has been sitting for several years due to several small issues. However now my major issue is that the gas tank has completely rusted with many holes going completely through. i have had very little luck finding a replacement. Are there any other models that I could look for that would fit this bike?

I don't believe the ER6's are compatible with any other tank. If you're based in the US, I know Ebay has a ton of these tanks available..

I’ve looked on eBay and most are damaged or outrageously priced. I saw a newer ninja 500 (don’t know year) that looked very similar. Was thinking the Verseys were basically the same bike. I was just hoping I would have more options available.

Tanks are usually bike specific, unless you're doing a custom build. Good luck in your search. Try a bike scrapper in your area for something cheap.
