Does Yamaha still use the backwards threads on the one mirror?
If not try looking at www.motospecialties.com The ones for the ZR-7 or the Z1000 will move the mirrors out about 1 1/2 inches. Just have a good look at the mounts to make sure they will clear all of the controls.
