after my dad passed away in oct. of 2009 it was best to not give mom any more worries so slowly i just stopped riding so she wouldn't be worried all the time

Once the bike is sold whatever is not taken by the bike buyer will be put up for sale, so if the bike buyer doesn't want the helmet then it will be available

if i sell the gear before the bike then i can't ride the bike once in a while, just to make sure she's running of course

No kidding! I got my 08 in October too with no gear for $4500. But it only had 270 original miles and an extended warranty through 2012 (the original owner bought it for his wife and she rode it once and was scared)
