Hey guys I need some advice real quick. I need to replace the STAY-STEP-FR-RH (holds the front right foot peg), and I have the new part. However There’s this large hex bolt that you can see here it runs through to the other side, is this save to remove? I’m worried that the removal of this could cause the frame to collapse. I can’t find any videos or instructions for removal, only the foot-peg itself.

Thats the swing arm bolt and I have heard that the newer 650s you need to pull that bolt just to change rearsets. I couldnt believe it at the time ... its true...
