Hey guys,

as most of you know i am pretty paticular about my bike and always error or the fix it side rather than let it roll...

I got home yesterday and noticed a funky smell and looked down. the bike was smoking..

upon closer examination i noticed where the coolant return line? (left side)enters the engine again there was some fluid that went drip drip (literally 2) and landed on the headers causing it to smoke...

didnt have the ability to look into it any further than that last night, but today it was drip drip drip if ya know what i mean...

any one have any clue what this could be? ill post pics as soon as i can.....

thanks,
chad

I believe Kawasaki says to replace coolant hoses every 4 years as the lines can get brittle. They'll stop sealing. I've had a couple hoses leak but they end up sealing themselves.

Defintely the hoses, I would just put a new one on. Couldn't be more than a couple bucks and I'm sure your coolant could be changed as well.
