I'm pretty sure a ZX10r Smacks the Bking around pretty good :kick:. we prolly won't need a big motor and weight to go with it.

well from the description..... sounds like aluminum frame, so light weight!
The wheels are nice..... the rotors are probably same as the ZX10... the rad covers looks like it also has a ram air.......

I might just start saving for this........ hopefully it'll be avail in US....
I'd love to see black 03-06 exhaust on this though!!!! I love the Z for the exhaust.... they should use the same design, but black and lighter weight!

Just another computer animation, they messed up the 2008-9's with a funky looking motor straight out of 10 year olds toy box, put the real motor in it without casting odd looking fake bits.

Ha, I knew it was too good to be true. Like I said, I'll wait on word from Kawi that this is going to happen.

Regarding the 2010 Z1000, bring it back to the US. Base it off the ZX10R, shocks, brakes, motor(same spec except for more hooligan gearing in the tranny, and a high 6th for smooth cruising) and all. I am willing to spend extra for the upgraded parts. Keep it simple, keep it sexy. Keep true to your history of making the best bikes money can buy. Nuff said...

I cant seem to get anyone willing to bring me a Z and a killer motor and a fist full of cash and say "BUILD IT AND I WILL RIDE IT"

As for the 2008-9's motor. The insides are great, its the heads casting to look like what ever, just use a real motocickls head and dont worry about what it looks like, and while I'm at it whats up with the fake frame brace ? Yes FAKE !

i read about this like a week or 2 ago. i was all happy until i read the part of the pic being a photoshop mockup of what it might look like. thats when i realized that its probably not gonna happen. i am kinda hoping that a new '10 model doesnt come out because i just ordered an oem seat cowl and a puig hugger for my '08 and am ordering some more parts in the near future. i dont want to keep spending $ on a bike that i would trade in in a heartbeat for a revamped z1000.

I dont think Kawasaki will update the Z before 2011, earliest..

1st gen 2003-06
2nd gen 2007-10?
3rd gen 2011?-
